Drawing on the EU-funded 5G4LIVES project, this session shares field experience from Riga, where 5G-connected drones were tested for urban search-and-rescue, and Turin, where the technology faced complex hillside terrain and civil protection scenarios — and what any city needs before this becomes routine.
