Barcelona Retail Lab is an initiative deployed in public-private collaboration by Barcelona City Council, the Department of Commerce and Barcelona Activa, and Cercle Tecnològic de Catalunya.

The project focused on the transformation of physical stores into digitally sensitive environments. Technology is there to support and enhance customer and seller experience and build value for both in a way that increases revenues.
Barcelona Retail Lab is about changing the way we shop, changing the shopping experience. Value is built when a network of stores becomes connected and start building synergies among them and with neighbouring stores.
