Rochelle Haynes

Biography

Rochelle’s career has focused on designing and scaling programs that seek to end the cycle of poverty in vulnerable communities through work in government, nonprofit & philanthropic sectors. Prior to leading Bloomberg Philanthropies What Works Cities, Rochelle spent 10+ years in local government; led global operations & strategy for 100 Resilient Cities-Rockefeller Foundation and served as VP of the US Social Impact team at Sesame Workshop. Rochelle resides as a Board Member of KABOOM! which focuses on childhood development and creating play spaces in underserved communities.
