Biography

Daniel Rádai, an optimist urban planner, acts on the intersections of strategic planning, place making and tactical urbanism in vulnerable social and physical environments. After his master’s degree at the Delft University of Technology, Daniel worked internationally. He has lived in nine cities, an experience he builds on when he works for resilient and cooperative neighborhoods as deputy mayor responsible for urban development in Budapest District 8, Józsefváros. They mitigate the pressure on housing and revitalize urban spaces to resilient, vibrant places in participatory approaches.
