How can I maximize my exposure at the event beyond being an exhibitor?

As an exhibitor, do I receive any invitations or discount codes to distribute among my network?
As an exhibitor, you get a number of invitations and exhibitor badges that depends on the participation package you contracted. You will also get discounted rates for purchasing additional passes.

I would like to organize my own session / a private meeting alongside SCEWC26. Which options do I have?
You can celebrate your event or host your own session within SCEWC26. Visit the Call for Stage Sessions and the Call for Side Events for further details and to access the application forms.
However, if you’re considering the opportunity to speak at SCEWC26, you can do so by becoming an official Partner. Secure a congress spot and gain maximum awareness for your brand.
How can I exhibit as a startup at Smart City Expo?

How can I access my invoice?
If you requested your invoice during the registration process, log into the Exhibitor Area and find it available for download under the “invoice” section.
How do I organize the build-up of my stand?
We offer exhibitors full flexibility, whether they want to contract space-only and then personalize their design stand or contract a shell-scheme. For space-only options, we recommend contracting the service of buildUP, Fira de Barcelona’s booth design department.
How can I book stand and catering services?

What is the Green Exhibitor Award at Smart City Expo?
The Green Exhibitor Award recognizes exhibitors who actively reduce their environmental impact and embrace sustainable practices before, during, and after the event. It is open to exhibitors with booth sizes up to 30m² and the winner is announced during the World Smart City Awards Ceremony. Learn more on this page.
When do assembly and dismantling take place? Does the assembly team need a special pass to access the venue?
Assembly hours:
- 29 October – 1 November: from 8 am – 8 pm
- 2 November: 8 am – 10 pm
Dismantling hours:
- 5 November: 6 pm – 10 pm (manual dismantling without vehicles)
- 6 – 7 November: 8 am – 10 pm
Please note:
– Vehicles will not be allowed inside the hall.
– Exhibitors who have booked their stand through ServiFira can have access to the stand 48 hours before the event starts. Their furniture will be delivered 24h before the event’s opening.
– All assembly staff will need a Contractor Pass, a personal and nontransferable pass that will give access during assembly and disassembly periods (not during the event celebration). Members of the assembly team will have to request their Contractor pass. The Organization will review the application and shall approve or deny it.
As an exhibitor, where can I consult all information regarding my participation?
You can find all the information regarding your participation in the Exhibitor Handbook, which is uploaded in your Exhibitor Area.
Also, do not hesitate to contact your Account Executive for any doubt you may have.
Can I get a refund if I am unable to attend due to international restrictions?
If, because of the current international situation — including tensions in the Middle East or any restrictions resulting from it — you are unable to attend the event as an Exhibitor due to airspace closures or travel limitations, you may request a refund of the amounts you have paid.
The refund will cover the remaining balance after subtracting any expenses the Organizer has already incurred and can justify.
Please note that no additional compensation or damages can be claimed in these circumstances.

What is Smart City Expo World Congress?
Smart City Expo World Congress exists in order to empower cities and collectivize urban innovation across the globe. The event consists of a 3-day congress and expo and has become the annual meeting point for corporate leaders, public representatives, entrepreneurs, experts, and academics from all around the globe, encouraging them to learn from each other, share experiences, talk about best practices, and open new paths for international collaboration. What is your refund policy?
As a general rule, once the registration fee has been paid it cannot be refunded. For any further questions please contact us at: [email protected].
Can I register more than one person?
Yes, it is possible to register more than one person. You will need to choose the type of ticket and the amount on the first screen, then simply fill in the details of all those to be registered on the following screen.
Can I transfer my ticket to someone else?

I’m already registered, how can I print my ticket?
You can do so by going to the Complementary Services page in your Visitor Area. This page shows the upgrades you are eligible for, depending on the type of ticket you purchased. For example, if you have a Visitor Pass you can upgrade it to a Full Congress Pass at any time.

When is the latest I can purchase tickets online?
You can buy your pass online until the last day of the event.
Do you have any discounts available?
We offer a 25% group discount for purchases of 6 passes or more, available from 1 October to 5 November. Students can also enjoy a 50% discount on their pass purchases. In addition, we run special promotions on selected occasions throughout the year. If you’d like to stay informed and receive exclusive, limited-time offers, be sure to subscribe to our newsletter.
I am a student, can I benefit from any discount?
We offer all students a 50% discount for their pass. Just drop us an email or call +34 93 233 20 00 to request your discount code.
Can I get a discount if I’m buying several passes?
We offer a 25% group discount for purchases of 6 passes or more, available from 1 October to 5 November.
Someone sent me an invitation code, how do I use it?
You can apply your invitation code in your purchase process. First, you need to register on our website. Once you are signed in, you will be able to choose which pass you want. On the upper left side of the screen, you will find a specific box to apply your promo code.
