CRESCER: Pact with nature

CRESCER is Cali’s long-term urban strategy to grow without compromising its environmental or social foundations. Grounded in resilience, equity, sustainability, and respect for nature, it integrates urban planning, social transformation, and environmental restoration – starting from the Cauca River.

Together Center is an inclusive human services hub that integrates affordable and workforce housing. We co-locate over 25 nonprofits on one campus, providing culturally responsive care to 30,000 people annually and advancing equity across East King County.

Safer Cities – Haryana uses crowdsourced data from SGBV survivors to map unsafe areas, raise awareness, and train police in empathetic response. Piloted in Faridabad, now in 8 districts, it conducts safety audits to improve public spaces, build trust, and enhance safety of women and girls.

Hambaksan Park : Urban-Nature Connection

Hambaksan Park in Pyeongtaek Godeok New Town is a restored egret habitat transformed into an ecological park. Integrating a carbon offset forest, retention basins, and recycled water systems, it embodies an Eco-Sponge Park model, promoting climate resilience and sustainable urban living.

AI Transit Stops Inspections

York Region, in collaboration with CITYROVER, expanded AI use to buses to inspect over 6,000 stops automatically. The system automatically and proactively detects in real time mobility, safety, cleanliness, and accessibility issues at a great efficiency, supporting faster resolution.

Seongnam City introduces a citizen-centered MaaS platform to bridge transit gaps between old and new urban areas. By integrating transit, shared vehicles, autonomous shuttles, and drone/robot delivery, it enhances mobility with eco-friendly services, targeting full deployment by 2026.

Data-Driven Governance in Lviv

Lviv City Council, Ukraine
The integration of Public Budget, E-Petitions, and City Hotline engages citizens in decision-making and ensures transparency. Data from these services form datasets published on the Lviv Open Data Portal, Geoportal, and Dashboard, enabling evidence-based management and tangible urban improvements.

City Deal eInclusion by Design

Fourteen major Flemish cities in Belgium co-created “e-inclusion by design”. Guided by service designers and in co-creation with citizens and other stakeholders they redesigned 28 public e-services. They shifted from reactive helpdesks to user-friendly, accessible design built in from the start.

Working with a local charity, universities and creatives, Belfast City Council delivered collaborated with local communities to utilise digital innovation techniques to explore and enrich the heritage, culture and stories associated with the city’s historic maritime mile, home of the famous Titanic.
