Ryoichiro Orii

Biography

After working in Yokohama’s sewerage sector, he joined the GREEN×EXPO 2027 project, contributing to the master plan, and public engagement initiatives. He currently serves as Director of Zero Carbon and GREEN×EXPO Promotion Bureau, leading preparations for the EXPO and promoting its vision of a sustainable green society. At GREEN×EXPO 2027, to be held in 2027, Yokohama will present its vision of future cities aimed at achieving harmony with nature, decarbonization, and a sustainable society under the theme, “Scenery of the Future for Happiness.”
