Karen Vancluysen

Biography

Since 2014, Karen Vancluysen has been Secretary General of POLIS, the European network of cities and regions on sustainable and innovative mobility. Before, she served as POLIS Research Director for 10 years. Prior to joining POLIS in 2004, Karen worked at Eurocities as network manager, and Langzaam Verkeer, as project manager. Since 1998, Karen has been involved in urban mobility networking, advocacy, policy , and R&I projects in the field. She has been a speaker and moderator at many high-level events in Europe and beyond, on a wide range of sustainable mobility and innovation themes.
