Biography

I started my career as a developer and later progressed into the roles of functional analyst and project manager. Today, I work for the City of Roeselare, where I am involved in a variety of projects, including innovative Smart City initiatives. My work focuses on using data collection, data analysis and emerging technologies to address urban challenges and support data-driven decision-making. One of these projects is RainBrain, a project focused on smart water management. It combines data, sensors, forecasts and AI to gain better insights into rainfall and water flows.
