Biography

Economist and urban innovation expert, former public sector and Wall Street executive, Gianluca is Co-founder and Chair of I³/NYC, a nonprofit helping Italian and Italian American entrepreneurs and institutions grow through NYC’s tech ecosystem. He advises cities, companies and organizations like Tomorrow.City USA, EU Commission, World Bank and Amundi. In NYC he advised Mayor de Blasio, led foreign direct investment and was MD of Tech Partnerships at the Housing Authority. He wrote Viva New York, on urban transformation, with a foreword by de Blasio, and studied at Yale and Bocconi.
