Biography
Prof. Takayuki Kanda is a Professor at Kyoto University and a leading researcher in Human-Robot Interaction and Social Robotics. He was one of founding members of the Communication Robots Project at ATR, where he worked closely with Hiroshi Ishiguro on pioneering humanoid and social robots. He is one of the researchers behind the early development of social robots and their deployment in real-world environments, including schools, museums and public spaces.Sessions
