Closing the digital divide is both a technology and a GovTech challenge. Drawing on Senegal’s efforts to connect over 16,000 schools, this session explores how data, digital tools and partnerships can improve public decision-making and infrastructure delivery. With 80% of schools mapped and nearly 1,500 expected to be connected in 2026, it examines how Giga’s support—from AI-enabled mapping to procurement and implementation—is turning strategy into measurable results.
