Biography

Rashid Seedat is the Executive Director of the Gauteng City-Region Observatory, an urban research partnership focused on the Gauteng province in South Africa. He was formerly head of strategy for the City of Johannesburg and subsequently the head of the Gauteng Province Planning Division.
