Biography

Nidya Pesántez, with over 35 years of experience, is an expert in sustainable development, human rights, and women’s rights. Since 2010, she has worked at UN Women, where she currently serves as the Resident Representative in Bolivia and coordinates the Environmental Strategy for a Just Transition in Latin America and the Caribbean.
