Biography
Nick Tyler CBE FREng seeks to explain how we perceive and act in the worlds we encounter. To do this he built a multiscale multisensorial Person-Environment-Activity Research Laboratory (PEARL) at UCL. Using his musician background, Nick and his team combine engineering, neuroscience, psychology, design and sensory sciences to put this into practice through collaborations with national and city governments around the world, with particular emphasis on implementing accessible transport and urban systems that work for everyone.Sessions
