Biography
Daeho Choi is the Mayor of Anyang, Republic of Korea, serving his fourth term (2010–2014, 2018–present) — the first four-term mayor of a basic local government in Gyeonggi Province. He holds a PhD in Education from Korea University. Mayor Choi chairs the Gyeonggi Council of Mayors and County Governors, representing 31 cities and counties. He leads Anyang's transformation into a people-centred smart city through AI-driven administrative innovation, expanded rail networks, and the Bakdal Smart City project.
