Biography
Dr. Christine Lemaitre studied civil engineering at the University of Stuttgart and then worked as a structural engineer in the USA. She worked as a project manager at Bilfinger Berger AG. Lemaitre has been DGNB’s Chief Executive Officer since February 2010. She was a member of the board of the World Green Building Council and is currently chair of the Climate Positive Europe Alliance and the Knowledge Foundation. She is also a member of the Sustainability Council of the German Property Federation (ZIA) and Chair of the Board of Directors of the Cradle to Cradle Product Innovation Institute.
