Care, Time and Livable Cities: Towards a Sustainable Urban Futures for All
A livable city is one that enables people to move, access services, care and be cared for safely and independently. Co-organized by CAF and UN Women, this session will explore how gender perspectives can be integrated into urban planning through safer and more inclusive mobility, care infrastructure, and the right to time, while addressing the inequalities that limit women’s autonomy and economic opportunities. It will also examine how investment can help scale solutions that make cities more inclusive and livable for all.
