Biography

Jaana Merisaar is a second-year PhD student in the Department of Business Administration at Tallinn University of Technology (TalTech), researching the circular economy and sustainable business models, with a focus on material reuse, resource valorization and industrial symbiosis. Through the Re-X project, she works with cities, developers and construction companies to advance standardized pre-demolition audits and digital tools that support the reuse of building structural elements and more circular, resource-efficient urban development.
