Shefali Virkar

Biography

Shefali is an assistant professor at the Institute for Public Management and Governance, WU Vienna. She is passionate about understanding the political and socio-economic ramifications of artificially intelligent technologies; how they reconfigure traditional governance structures, and can be harnessed to empower stakeholders and promote social justice. Through her research, teaching and outreach activities, she aims to actively engage with the scholarly debates surrounding these technologies and provide evidence-based insights to guide policy and practice.
