Biography
Laura Lieto is a full professor of urban planning at Federico II University, Napoli (Italy). Laura is a planning theorist and an urban ethnographer, her work focuses on urban informality, trans-national urbanism, regeneration policies and planning regulation. She has been visiting professor at Columbia University (New York City) and Copenhagen University and has been chairing national and international research projects, among which a recent project on the impact of platform tourism over Italian cities. She now serves as Deputy Mayor and Council Member for Urban Planning in the City of Napoli.
