Biography
Klaus Höckner is CEO of the Hilfsgemeinschaft der Blinden und Sehschwachen Österreichs (Access Austria) and a board member of ÖZIV Bundesverband. Appointed by the European Commission to its Informal Expert Group on the European Accessibility Act, he is Austria's National Expert for AccessibleEU, IAAP DACH Lead and OPDC member, and Regional Lead Europe of the ISOC Accessibility Standing Group. He works in ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 35 and SC 42 and in CEN/CENELEC/ETSI JWG eAccessibility. A CPACC- and CWAE-certified Zero Project Ambassador, he has worked on accessible ICT and mobility since 2000.
