Biography

Boen is Product Owner at the Innovation Department of the Municipality of Amsterdam. With his team, he focuses on leveraging data within the mobility sector. In this role, he contributes to achieving the city's mobility objectives of sustainability and accessibility. With a background in designing smart systems—from energy networks to smart household appliances—Boen continually seeks the right balance between numbers and people. He combines hard data with insights from user research and design thinking to develop solutions that are both practical and widely accepted.
