Anna Minton

Biography

Dr Anna Minton is the author of three books about the housing crisis and spatial inequalities. Big Capital: Who is London for? investigates the housing crisis and Ground Control: Fear and Happiness in the 21st Century City examines the privatisation of cities. Her new book, Super Prime: The Sterilization of the City, published in 2027, takes these themes onto a global canvas, arguing that a Super Prime crisis is causing the sterilization of cities and the fracturing of the social contract. She is Reader in Architecture at the University of East London and contributor to the Guardian.
