In order to discuss the innovative solutions to the Mediterranean sustainability challenges provided by smart cities, this event will bring together representatives of four Mediterranean cities that have taken the plunge to become “smarter” to share the lessons learnt from their journey towards greater sustainability and inclusiveness.

The Youth Devising Solutions for the Digital Gap in the Elderly

The City Council of L'Hospitalet has developed a socio-educational project through a gamification with vocational training schools and more than 200 students from 9 different professional profiles. The young people, over 2 months and with the support of 20 mentor older adults, have generated technological projects to improve them the quality of life. How can a challenge unite different groups and generate new dynamics in the city?
