INFRASTRUCTURES & BUILDINGS

Here you’ll find all the content relating to the infrastructures & buildings sectors that was covered at #SCEWC22.

INFRASTRUCTURES & BUILDINGS

Buildings are currently responsible for 30 to 40% of total city emissions. As the pressure to act on climate change increases, local authorities aim to regenerate infrastructures so that they are more energy-efficient and sustainable. What do city leaders need to consider in order to contribute to a better quality of life through smart and sustainable buildings and well-integrated and intelligent city infrastructures?

New for 2022, Tomorrow.Building is a dedicated initiative shining a spotlight on the topics of infrastructure and construction at Smart City Expo World Congress.

Its aim is to defend the need for a more digitalized model for construction as a way to improve sustainability and apply practices that reduce the environmental impact of construction and infrastructure.
