As cities are large consumers of energy and responsible for most emissions, shifting from traditional fossil fuels to renewable and sustainable energy sources is mandatory to dramatically minimize them. This session will explore the current challenges and lessons learned on net zero and energy transition. What are the available sources of energy in cities? Can cities’ commitments reach 100% renewables?
