Biography
He was a member of the Dutch parliament (1989-2001). He was associated with Politeia, an organization focused on innovative PPP constructions (2001-2008). Between 2008-2016, he was mayor of Eindhoven. From 2016, hi is adviser to the Dutch government, supervisor of the Dutch National Broadcasting Service (NOS) and SB chair of the KIC Urban Mobility.
