The session examines the concept of Smart Water Cities and analyses how “smart” cities manage urban water resources. It discusses different water challenges that cities currently face and presents some of the measures that cities can implement and their impact. Attention is given to the "Smart Water Cities" project by IWRA, K-water and AWC, UNESCO's "Seal of Excellence" and the Busan Eco Delta Smart City Project.
