Microincentives: a Game-changing Approach to Nudging Sustainable Mobility

Mobility incentives (or subsidies) are already being massively used by cities and regions in Europe that heavily subsidise the cost of public transport (up to 100%, in some cases) to enable “mobility for all”. However, public subsidies funded by taxpayer money have huge room for improvement as they could be optimised to target specific user groups or consider more detailed criteria for allocating them in real-time, unlocking massive impact.
