Barcelona Urban Mobility Lab: a New Approach for Managing Innovation in the City

The objective of the session is to unveil the first city challenge to be tackled within the brand-new Barcelona Urban Lab Mobility – the joint initiative by Municipality de Barcelona, DGT-Spanish Directorate for Traffic, Fira de Barcelona and EIT Urban Mobility – that aims to use real-life environments and settings for the purpose of testing, demonstrating, and piloting new user-centred urban mobility solutions. We will make a Demo of the first Dynamic Atlas structured with the taxonomy of barriers defined by an international committee , in wich an user can play, compare and access, in an unique space toi more than 4000 indicators from the principal data bases of the worls, and find, geo-referenced, best practices around the world. The platform has stablish global alliances with different international partners to build a new collaborative way to focus on this challenge.
