Intelligent Transport Systems Increasing Accessibility in Urban Areas

Thursday, 16
14:10 - 15:10
Gran Via, Hall 2, Congress Area - Room 1

Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) providing real-time transit information and guidance through deep learning techniques and image processing can significantly improve the accessibility of public transport and reduce barriers to travel. Yet these services should be designed with elderly and disabled people in mind. Is it possible to develop and support ITS critical features in accordance with a sustainable and inclusive mobility policy?
